Peter Sellers - advice and opinions please

Hi,

I got these two Peter Sellers I recently bought, whats your opinion?

I have my doubts about one of them in particular. I just wanna own a real Sellers, hate those forgery people....

Anyone know of real Sellers on sale right now?

I'm afraid the news is not good. I don't believe either of those are genuine Sellers. Here's my Sellers letter from 1972, you can see the confident way he signed, even from this pic I took on my iPad. The two you've posted don't share the same traits. I hope you didn't pay too much for them!

If it was me and I wanted a genuine Sellers I would be looking for a document like this one from Marcus Brandes.

I would highly recommend Markus Brandes as a dealer and his fantastic web site. Try www.autograph-market.com or simply google Markus Brandes. Just got a full line up of Black Sabbath from him, absolutely fantastic!!! I've got one that was signed for me right around the time the film "Being There" had come out.
It's in kind of bad condition from sitting in a photo album but I'll post it here.
I also posted a question about the Sellers autograph and some others I have.
I forgot to add that when I was removing the autographs from the photo album I accidently cut right through the Sellers one which was on the other side of the page,ugh. I taped it together on the back but not over the signature itself.
Just realized how old this post is, thought maybe you're still interested
