Possibly purchasing an autographed Munson piece.

Been looking for a Munson piece for a while now. Lots of variables had to come into play. It's a 3x5 in an 8x10 matted framed picture. It's authenticated by JSA. The autograph is absolutely beautiful and I'd like all of your opinions as far as price wise He wants $2795.00 or best offer Is it worth it???? We all know Munson's autograph is expensive. The prices range are all over the place, but for this particular piece, is it worth it????

Christopher is correct, it's all about what it's worth for you to own it. But if you are talking about pure value, it was way overpriced.

I haven't scanned the market lately for current price trends on Munson cuts, but $2800 does seem excessive to me, first impression, even though matted and authenticated. Good thing is that it's passed authentication, Munson can be very tricky, even for the majors.

He wanted $2800 He just sold it to me for $2100. I'm beyond stoked!

Congratulations!!! It's a beautiful presentation piece and the price adjustment makes it much more reasonable! What's also nice is that the time frame of the picture matches the time frame of the signature!
