Possibly the world's most laughable fake autograph!

I had to share this, which made me nearly spit my coffee across the floor this morning!

A Special tribute magazine to celebrate the life of David Bowie, on sale from an eBay member..... And guess what?.... It has been signed by David!

Now, the seller may have or may not have signed is, but it doesn't take a genius to notice it has his birth date and sadly date of death on the cover.

How stupid are some people?

Do you happen to know if the seller's name is Peter Griffin?

Okay, so here is the seller's description:

"Tribute issue of NME Magazine for David Bowie. With autograph. Signature not authenticated, but believed to be original as it was acquired in a borough of London where David may have been seen." - You mean his ghost?!!

This is beyond laughable. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I am beyond words. Wow.

I can just imagine eBay's response: "Well what makes you so certain that this is not authentic? After all, Mr. Bowie MAY have been seen in a borough of London. Let us not rush to judgment!" Lol.

Knowing eBay, they will not respond!

I once saw a fake autograph from Kiss years ago and reported it to eBay, they said I was no expert. So, I got the guitarist to contact them. Their response 'What capacity do you think it is not authentic?'. His response, it is not my autograph. Their second response. What do you base this judgement on? !!!

I haven't laughed so much in ages at such an unbelievable response to the kiss guitarist.  The problem is that it is believable when you put an ebay rep back in the equation.   So what did the guiatarist say back?  Was it repeatable?
