Hello,
Rumor circulating around eBay that if your item fails PSA, they will send a pic of it to JSA before you have a chance to send it yourself. JSA will then not even bother to examine, but automatically fail the item. And vice versa. Could this be true????

While I do not now it to be true either way. I would be very surprised if they worked that close together.
Agreed. I've been on eBay buying graphs for over ten years and heard some pretty wild rumors before, but this one may be the wildest. For the record, this has never happened to me. I got most of my in person autographs while growing up in NYC, and sent dozens to both PSA and JSA, and they all passed. But, I did hear this from two ebayers, whether it was the same person with two accounts I do not know. Thought it was too interesting not to post it here though.....
Agree with Steve. what would either gain by doing that? It's just a silly rumor passed around by pissed off collectors who have been given the bad news that their autograph is fake.
I agree Steve. It sounds completely ridiculous to me as well.
I do not believe they work together. Nor is there any evidence they do.
...aren't there plenty of examples of one passing something the other failed?
Sounds like sellers making a terrible excuse for selling bad product.
The ridiculous thing is that people apparently believe it.
Yup. A fairy tale of misinformation concocted by the forgery industry, i.e., the criminals who manufacture, knowingly "authenticate" and sell fakes.
I do not believe that story.
