Given to me as a gift recently. Looks pretty good. I'm no expert. No COA. Will be getting it authenticated. Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. IMG_20161231_193502920.jpg

sorry but these are not authentic

That"s a bummer. The person who gave me the ball as a gift, said, he bought it at a memorabilia show. I compared it to some of the best PSAs out there. How do you know this for sure?? Thank you for your input!!!!

Going to PSA this month to get the ball authenticated.

going to be disappointed at spending that kind of money...and for what???? The dimaggio is particularly horrennnnnnnnydious! Please don't go chasing certs John especially for this.

I pi** plenty of money away, but frankly, I would have more fun tearing up a couple of hunns and flushing them directly in the toilet. Or, possibly lighting them on fire to lite a cigar ala the Three Stooges.

How do we know for sure?...It's called a B.S. Meter and looking at these fakes for years and years AND years.

ah, what do I care, go to PSA and have a good time wasting hundreds. Then you can ask them why it failed and they won't udder a PEEP. Me thinks you should start your new year actually listing to peoples advice who may know a smidgen more? What do ya say there John? It's a good rule of thumb for everyday life and it translates specifically to this situation. Just sayin. Enjoy!

That's a typical Joe DiMaggio forgery that we've seen hundreds of times.

As a matter of fact, that same-style Joe DiMaggio forgery was the "Advertisement" for the "Bergen County Auction of Forgeries."  See below.

Sorry, both signatures are no good.
