There is no info other than a few pictures that may or may not be the same book? Is there anything on Facebook im missing? I wouldnt dare cancel my order based on the info im seeing. We need facts

There is a copy on ebay already with a photo of the signature.... for more comparison.....

I think this is the same photo that was posted in the facebook group. The shadows on both photos look the same.

I hope so as they are 100% identical.... so it is either the same copy or 2 autopenned copies!

This could be fake news for sure, but it could be true as well. The pricetag is no guarantee for authenticity.

Indigo might not even be in the know. They just make a deal with the publisher for signed copies. Either the publisher could decide to do autopen, or they send the pages to the artists management who returns them autopen or ghost signed. They'll assume it's real until we start complaining.

I think all stores have had autopen copies at some point. The difficulty is how are they going to handle the issue? 

I believe Waterstones has been good in the past, but with Run, Rose, Run they wouldn't budge. After all we're a small community, a lot of people wouldn't know about the autopen or refuse to believe it. If the publisher doesn't want to refund Indigo they might not be willing to take the hit on a large amount of expensive books.

Good thing this wasn't a really long pre-order. Everyone should be within their credit card dispute period if they cause any hassle on returns.

They pulled the page when they sold out.

There was a long period where the book was sold out but the page was still up. You could add it to your wishlist. It was gone for sure 2 days ago though
