They've hit an all time low with this one. wow.

I knew I'd hear from you, or Epperson himself.
Besides the Game Used Universe article there is story after story after story similar to the problems mentioned on the GUU board on Google- how do you explain all of those away and why did Epperson put "Epperson forgery" on his site tags so his site would be on Google Page ONE with all the forgery accusers? I know Epperson pays for advertising on this site, so there's bound to be a conflict of interest by some members on this board who are friends of his like you are.
And NO. in my opinion no one but court qualified Forensic Document Examiners should be allowed to give opinions on ANY autographs. At one time or another nearly EVERY authenticator has been busted by me (and many others including on TV News stories & ESPN) for making mistakes that trained autograph professionals DO NOT MAKE.
Why didn't that person in the e-mail you showed go to lunch to put the Epperson/Spence thing to rest & how do I know THEY DIDN'T EVER MEET (I'm 99% sure)? Because far too many people are ready willing and able to shoot their mouths off ONLINE ONLY but wnen it comes to meeting in-person or talking on the phone (as hardcore as they do online) it seems like I'm the only person who's ever done this!
I did it with Ken Goldin when he was considered the biggest crook in the hobby in 1998 (and it turns out he wasn't- I SAW UNQUESTIONABLE PROOF: his resignation letter from Score Board proving he had no say in Score Board day to day operations other than Shop At Home for years before they went bankrupt). Goldin lies like a rug when it comes to values of items he's selling but he never released one forgery while working for Score Board and he RESIGNED BEFORE Score Board bankrupted themselves by issuing many tens of thousands of autograph redemption cards for players they didn't even have autograph agreements or contracts for! The Corporate CEO that took over when Score Board went public caused all of the problems that bankrupted Score Board (a Mr. White) who I spoke to on the phone for a good 30-minutes directly accusing him of screwing tens of thousands of collectors (he had a LONG drawn out lame excuse talking in circles just like any Corporate A****** who doesn't know this hobby from a hole in the ground) and tape recorded the entire thing which was on my former website in 1998.
I did this with several PSA/DNA employees and PSA as well (by phone). I did this with James Spence (in-person). I did this with Richard Simon (in-person and all he did was run from me at the 2001 Sports Card National and I never said one threatening word to him!). I did this with former Signature Rookies Owner Tim Flatt (by phone several times). Then when Flatt fraudulently stated his autographed baseball and bat items have Frangipani letters I did this with Donald Frangipani accusing him face to face of fraud (and he proved me wrong with UNQUESTIONABLE PROOF TOO).
I'm the first person to state that I'm wrong when I am. But I have a very strong BAD instinctual feelings (and my instincts are remarkable) about Epperson. I think he was once very good, but went bad when he could no longer make as much money as he used to. This is why poor kids who grew up in poor towns shouldn't put all their eggs in one basket and should have learned more than one decent trade just like I did!
As far as sports cards go specifically, I did this with Fleer speaking directly with Lloyd Pawlak (whose name is printed on the back of every Fleer Game-Used and autograph card for authenticity) when I discovered that six different 2001 Retail Baseball products stated on the boxes and packs to "Look for Serial Numbered Rookies and Autographs." Then stated odds for pulling autographs on these products. NOT ONE OF THESE PRODUCTS HAD ROOKIES OR AUTOGRAPHS IN THEM WHICH PAWLAK FINALLY ADMITTED AFTER I SPENT MY MONEY BUYING DOZENS AND DOZENS OF THESE BOXES TO ABSOLUTELY PROVE TO PAWLAK THAT I KNEW WHAT HE ALREADY DID! He finally explained that the companies buying as middlemen (Treat and Fairfield) for Retail Chain Stores (Target, K-Mart and Wal-Mart) kept complaining that they need to do something to stop such high theft numbers of these packs. So Pawlak's solution was not putting any of the best cards in these boxes/packs, yet they kept the price of the boxes/packs the EXACT SAME PRICE! That's MAJOR fraud!!! Yet I was the only person ion the country that caught this.
HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Because most collectors sadly would rather keep their heads in the sand and pretend that fraud doesn't exist in this hobby and I fear the same thing goes for the autograph hobby. How else could such AWFUL FORGERY sellers on eBay have PERFECT FEEDBACK (no accusations of selling forgeries, yet almost everything if not everything are OBVIOUS forgeries to more advanced hobbyists?).
I did this with every executive at Pacific Trading Cards (except Mike Kramer who I wanted to speak but no one would let me) which caused me to have all their Baseball licensing pulled in 2001 for making all fake game-used cards in 2001 Private Stock Baseball (their largest game-used cards offering in any product BY FAR ever). NOT ONE CARD USED A MAJOR LEAGUE GAME-USED ITEM AS PACIFIC STATED ON THE PHONE, AND COULDN'T PROVE OTHERWISE TO ME OR THE MLB Licensing people!
I did this by talking to the owner of Playoff (also later known as Donruss/Playoff) for the entire month of May (nearly every day for over a hour M-F). Then by taking a job as a Senior Manager at Playoff (ATTN: Rick The Dick- how many companies in cards or autographs were you are Senior Manager for?) I spent 16+ hour days (7-DAYS A WEEK) collecting as much evidence of fraud and learning every single thing I could as to how card companies work from the inside for future reference. This was also the best time to learn about On Card Certified Autograph Inserts and then the REAL reasons why Playoff started using return address labels for sticker autographs. When I started I was introduced as the entire company resource person as to any questions any employee had regarding the sports card hobby. And I just Google things and know nothing else, right Rick The Dick? The truth is I NEVER attack anyone personally unless they senselessly attack me first when all I am trying to do is get to the truth. Sometimes it takes means that many of you are not at all familiar with because you have NEVER DONE WHAT I SPENT LITERALLY MANY THOUSANDS OF HOURS DOING STARTING in 1992-2004 FULL TIME!
Stay civil, be honest and you will be treated like an honorable person. I no longer have patience for anyone else.
James,
I'm sorry to hear about your illnesses. What Koschal meant by putting Epperson and Spence to rest was putting them out of business. They weren't trying to make nice.
You said that you knew you'd hear from Roger or me. Why?
I'm not sure about the situation you're talking about regarding Frangipani, and I imagine many here aren't sure. You accused him of fraud and then realized he was right? Would you mind explaining the situation?
Thanks
Steve,
This guy says he officially investigated Frangipani for fraud. Not sure on who's authority. He always seems to skip that. After finding out Frangipani was the best authenticator in the world and being set-up by PSA, JSA and GAI he went on and did a 200 hour internship under Frangipani(during his forgery authentication days in 1999). As if that wasn't a conflict of interest. After this 200 internship under Frangipani he earned the right to call himself a FDE and is better qualified to authenticate autographs than anyone else. The guy is an odd character who lives in lala land......oh and apparently lives in a bubble to.
Here is his self write up on it:
HBO nailed Frangi good.
Then Frangi sued everyone.....
And LOST!!!!!!
Mr James mcCay
Im not getting into this to much because its over my head. On Steves the managers page theres a Beatles 65 album signed by the fab 4 authenticated by two experts in the field, personally I think its the real thing.
What do you make of that album?
Sorry, but I can't get involved in EVERY questionable situation as I'm far too sick: Myasthenia Gravis, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Degenerative Joint Disease, Fibromyalgia and Hyperthymusism blocking ALL medications from working right if at all. These are all progressive diseases and I've had them all by 2004. I've been bed-ridden and homebound since around 2009. I haven't left my apartment since 2009 to do ANYTHING for personal reasons other than required by law doctor appointments every 3-months. My mind is the only thing that still works which sucks beyond all your imaginations.
Not to sick to pop in here with your quoting others google write ups.
Dude you must have bad genes. Better go have mom give you a hug.
Rick Meyer: you are a moron. That's all the time I'll ever waste on you.
Yeah, I'm the moron because I think you and Donald Frangipani are both boneheads.
Why is it none of you self proclaimed FDE's are listed here?
