Has anybody seen, heard or attended one of the Twilight Conventions? I made the mistake of telling my wife and her friend about them. What a marketing idea, taking the characters of the films around the country for three day events. Tickets are not cheap, but fair, according to the web page, it looks like fairly nice activities, if your in to the movie!

Here's something I found with the other 50's pictures, they are not autographed, but the lady was 5 feet from James Dean and took these.

Hi Sheldon, I know Tom Fontain in Indiana collects alot of Marilyn Monroe signatures and memorabilia. He has a pretty good website and I respect his opinions. Here is his link: http://www.rockandrollinvestments.com/
Good Luck & GREAT stuff!!

Thanks, Sheldon. They are fantastic images--a real treat. Why don't you make a photo album of them? You can add one here: http://live.autographmagazine.com/photo/album/new

The size issue isn't a matter of where you store them--we have lots of room on our servers. It's how long they take to display. For computer screen use, we recommend resizing them to 650-700 pixels high, and then save them as high but not maximum quality JPEGs. That'll make them about 75K to 150K each and they'll display nice and fast.

Sure Steve, whatever is best, I can also use photobucket...I have no worries about the authenticity, the odd collection, the lady, how we found them and the original photos she took, forgery never even came to mind..I'll gladly post more for people to enjoy...

Sheldon,

Thanks for posting these. I'm no expert--it's a lot easier to identify the average forgery than be sure something is real--but the Brando and Monroe sure look good to me. I didn't check others. You made one heck of a find--congratulations!

These photos are huge and causing the forum to load slowly. If you want, I'll resize and email them to you. That way people on slower connections will be able to enjoy them to. Just let me know.

Of course I want to sell them all, I've contacted a few dealers to get their response, some want them for their auctions, a couple had interest in the complete collection. I have nothing in to these and would rather see them go to good homes, call me crazy, but sometimes it's not all about money! Looking at all of them and wondering where the lady was at the time of signing, did she have conversations, like the Marilyn, I can tell it's a "Walking" autograph, the Grace Kelly is a sit down, the Dean photos he's smoking and still paused for the picture.
