Not sure if this is where I should post this or not, but I do have a lot of autographed Nascar trading cards that were obtained in person at Michigan Speedway in the early to mid-90's. I'm open to…Continue

Just a heads up with IndyCar session...at the Indy Grand Prix autograph session they split up the Penske and Andretti teams to even out the line.

My line had Marco/Rossi from AAA and Helio/Power from Penske. Add the full Ganassi team (Dixon/Kanaan/Chilton/Kimball) and you know why that line was way longer than the other line. Don't be surprised if they do that with 2 of the Big 3 teams at Pocono.

I did go the NHRA event in Norwalk this past weekend. a got 42 handouts, one magazine, two posters and one trading card signed by 37 drivers overall. New guys I got was mostly Pro Stock drivers, this years' rookie drivers, and Chris Karamensis, who is running Top Fuel part-time in his 80s.

Angelle Sampey's daughter Ava also had little handouts made for her and signed them alongside her mother during the Pro Stock Bike autograph session. and yes, I got one as well.

If you guys have not went to a NHRA event, I would recommend doing so. Full access to the pits, countless opportunities to get autographs through the pits and midway appearances. I was cutoff in line at the Mopar driver signing and I was not upset. I already had three of the driver's autographs earlier that day and would get the other three later. And there is nothing like eating one pound of chocolate ice cream for $1 (the legendary Summit Motorsports Park staple) while the Top Fuelers are screaming past you.

Nice Bill. The wife and I are looking to do the back to back nascar races. Pocono and the Glen. and what 2 weeks later the Indy car race at Pocono. With the autographs we usually split up. Since I'm a Team Penske fan they are usually in one line. She's with Team Ganassi so she will do the other line since her driver is with them. I have a couple of photo's from the first indy car race there I want to get signed this yr from them. I have a nice head shot of Helio from the first time they were there. and some other photo's hey why not. yeah a hero card is great but to get a photo I did my self done that is great.

Had great success at the Indy Car race at Road America over the weekend.  Ended up getting almost the entire field.  It's nice to see their biggest stars be so fan friendly, even away from the organized autograph session.  Looking forward to the Xfinity race there in a couple of months.

well atleast I can update you on one thing. got an email recently from Pocono saying that since the stage driver intro on the racetrack was a huge success they are going to do it again for the second race. Which means the drivers are no longer coming up into victory circle to do driver intro. I have a feeling alot of us fans wanting autographs might have killed the golden goose on that one. Pocono states the fans asked for it but I think something else. Oh well. I will see what happens in about a month. I'll try and get some photo's of stuff I got signed and upload on monday from the first pocono race.

yeah Tim. I was hoping to snag atleast 1-2 Jr autographs on Sunday. Saw some photo's of him signing in gasoline alley on Fri prior to what looks like qualifying. Still have the second one but who knows. Like I said with this qualify and race on sunday because the drivers complained about the long weekends who knows what the drivers are going to do. The wife and I have the tickets for Victory Circle so who knows if they will walk up through there or not for drivers intro?. Once I know I'll let you guys know. With Mc Murray I got him a couple of times. I have gotten some older cars signed and I have 2 others I have I want to see if I can get signed. One is Cessna pink and the other is a race win one from Charlotte win with bass pro. I'm happy with what I get and if I don't get anything Oh well.

Yeah Danica I think might be gone after this yr. She was a great PR thing but I think its time for her to find something else to do. Yeah she won in indy car but that was by luck of other drivers running out of gas in japan. Someone should have pulled her aside and said Danica first rule in business don't bite the hand that feeds you. When she said all I'm paid to do is race and not worry about us the fans well little lady last I checked you were getting paid from money that comes from someone and that someone is the end user namely the fans. We are the ones going out and buying your products you guys sponsor or your nascar products. Do you honestly think coke pays you without getting some type of money from someone. Oh is maybe me the one who bought a 2 litter of coke or 12 pack cans. Better yet the Natures Bakery products the wife wanted which cost me $6.00 for 2 boxes I bought on Sunday. You don't think some of that money is going back to you since they sponsor you?. I just hope that what ever she does after this yr she stays away from Nascar if she is done. but I bet she will be hanging all over Stenhouse but atleast I won't be wanting to get an autograph from her even then.

sounds like Pocono was pretty successful....it was nice to see Blaney win one...he's been a great signer over the past few years...and the lady still hasn't won...got to wonder how long the sponsors will stick with her...

I can count on one hand the number of times McMurray has signed for me over the years....just not a pleasant experience....ryan newman...he's a class act .

Nice Bill. Hey its not raining but I did hear some rumbling from a possible thunderstorm outside. I guess he's trying to show he's not that much of an ahole since I read today that the case involving the ward family goes to court in NY again the 23 of June. Either way he atleast signed for you again. I had a so so weekend at Pocono. I was able to snag Kurt Busch, Stenhouse on Fri when they did a autograph signing for monster. Chris Buescher was also signing but he didn't have any hero cards and I didn't have one for him to sign so I skipped him to get kurt. Stenhouse signed a hero card for the sponsor Little jugs. With Kurt I got a Quater panel and 2016 Monster car signed. I also snagged a pre signed hero card. later that day for qualifying the wife and I snagged Ryan Newman. Quick story with that. He was debriefing with his crew chief and with them trying to get pit road cleared the one security guard was nice to let us wait a couple of min but we both said screw it. walked out the way you walk onto pit road from the fan zone and waited by a table. well about 2 min passed here comes Ryan out through the pit area and told the wife grab your 2 diecasts and see if he will sign. we stopped him got him to sign the one when low and behold Truex Jr. comes up behind him and pinches ryans ass. Ryan jumps and turns and see's him and laughs. and Truex wasn't like moving fast after he did it he was walking really fast that one family decided to catch up and have him sign for them. well ryan signed 2 diecasts and a old alltel helmet. went to a brad signing and got 2 pieces (left and right rear qtr panels) from his bristol 2014 car signed and a hero card. As some may have heard Danica was recorded on facebook live getting into some type of discussion about not giving an autograph. well that leads me to Sunday. With the track trying to do what alot of other tracks have with driver intro on the front stretch alot of drivers ducked through gasoline alley and didn't come up through our area and sign. The dillon boys, Bubba, Logano, Blaney, AJ, Cope, Truex, Kevin Harvick, Matt D., Sorenson, Kyle Busch and some of the other lower funded drivers signed. Larson, McMurray, Kurt Busch and Newman didn't sign. Newman and Larson had their kids with them so that's understandable. Mcmurray just blew past everybody and Kurt atleast waved. would have loved another diecast. I was able to snag the Dillon kids for 1 diecast each and with Kyle I was able to get a Skittles 2015 diecast signed. had to chase that one abit. once things calm down with me I'll see about uploading the results of my adventure. I don't know what will happen for the next Pocono Race since they are going to try that qualify at one time race a couple hrs later on sunday. Talked to one of our security guard friends and that person was questioning what are they going to do. yeah you qualify at this time have a couple hr break and turn around and get ready to race.

Snagged another Tony Stewart last night at the make up sprint car race.  Tony seems to be a much better signer away from NASCAR.  Also got Taylor Malsom who ran trucks and some Nationwide races several years ago.

Went to Legends Day Saturday at Indy--did the full field signing. Unlike Community Day. all 33 drivers do the one hour signing. After doing the quick math for the Alonso line, I bailed out and did Hunter-Reay, Jones, and Servia. Hit my second line of Pippa Mann, Pigot, and Lazier. Got to do a third line before they ended the signing and got Newgarden, Pagenaud, and Munoz. Wet over to the retired drivers signing and found out all the wristbands were gone. GRRR...

The bad part was losing the poster I just started two days earlier! I was mad for about 10 minutes, but realized I already had 9 of the 13 drivers already on handouts or photos and that I can easily get the other four through proper channels.

Yes, I am still bummed about losing the poster but now I see why most people don't carry that stuff around all day now. But my daughter went with me and we had great time. She got to finally meet Pippa and I bought a Pippa shirt/hat/1:64 combo for her. She even wanted to go back next year. That is the memory I will have of this day.

good thing you got Juan to sign for you. Juan retired last year from racing. He only did the one off for penske for the 500 to give him a chance to win one. Yeah the indy guys are required to sign for the fans. I was hoping last yr to go back again to pocono but finances didn't allow it. Besides it got rained out and had to do monday which I couldn't do because of work. I was lucky to get juan to sign a couple of diecast 2 yrs ago when he joined penske at pocono. the one guy who was hyping up the crowd saw the nascar one's and busted my chops saying those are for the other series not indy cars. told him been trying to get juan to sign so this was my one shot. Yeah I like with indy you can go into the garage area but not out onto the track while nascar allows fans to be out on some tracks while practicing but not in the garage unless you have a hot/cold pass. The wife and I are hopping to make the 500 next yr. Did the coke 600 back in 2007 and if we do the 500 next yr that will be 2018 which is 11 yrs and to do both races 1100 miles so you can say we joined the club.LOL good that you got some great folks to sign for you.
