I am just sending a letter.  It's already signed and sealed.  That's all I did for Ralph McQuarrie.  Hopefully he will be pleased to receive it and send something in return.

Here is a photo of my framed Ralph McQuarrie letter. I told him that I enjoyed his work very much. I also asked him if he would be so kind as to send back a brief sketch.  He wrote back thanking me for my interest in his work and very politely declining to draw a sketch because it would set an impossible precedent for him to follow.

How many times have you sent TTM to a different country?

Only to Mr. McQuarrie.  As a matter of fact it was the only time that I ever sent a TTM with the exception of George Lucas which came up empty.

I'm trying to determine the best way to send TTM to other countries.

Personally, I prefer to enclose cash With My picture, LOR and SAE..Make a currency exchange. Or order stamps from that countrys' postoffice. :-) Works for me anyway.

After a 242 days I got back this Peter Cullen TTM...(The voice of Optimus Prime) I am just a sucker for Transformers and was so happy to get this back... unfortunately I made the mistake of sending it in a top loader at the time which I stopped doing months ago and he signed the top loader...but it will look nice behind a matted frame...I may try him again...but not sure if I have the patients for that...I still love it...a true child hood legend in my eyes from one of my favorite shows as a child in the 80's...

Today, I traded a couple of 1:64 scale die cast Nascar cars for some signed comics.

First, I got a Death of Hari Kari signed by Ken Tilly. And the second one is Extremes of Violet signed by Dell Barras and Bruce Schoengood. I also received a signed Michael Andretti trading card as part of the trade.

Met Ray Parks and had him sign my Darth Maul statue. Real nice guy!

Very cool.  Congratulations.  How and when did you meet him?
