Elton John and Bernie Taupin together did a very rare signing for the "Made In England" album on March 21, 1995 at Tower Records on The Sunset Strip. He did another signing there for the relase of the soundtrack to the film, El Dorado, afew years later. I have also been able to obtain Elton John at several charity events and resturants in and around the L.A. area. Elton, though very generous with all his charity work and donations, can equally be understandably a bit difficult at signing on the streets. At both signings at Tower Records, he allowed for every CD sold, 1 other item of choice to be signed as well. In this 1995 signing I brought several people with me, and paid about a dozen people in line $100.00ish each, to get multiple items for me signed. Though that night was quite expensive, I walked away with about 15-20 signed items in one evening.
