James Stewart (My very first autograph)

I wrote many letters to Mr. Stewart and each time, I recieved an answer. These two cards are what I sent to him to sign in 1987. The last time I wrote to him was after his stroke and I had sent a picture for him to sign. I recieved a letter stating that Mr. stewart would no longer be signing any items sent to him but they would be sending out a "single signed photo" for all autograph request. I think this is when the main use of the autopen for Mr. Stewart came into play.
