Wow. That is truly awesome! I also love the inscription. As one member once told me, "The more writing the better!" I tend to agree with that. That's a special piece. Pretty much the Holy Grail for an MJ fan.

I don't have the story behind it (but I am researching it now thoroughly since it is now in my hands) - I have followed it around the net for a few years however, but it was always terribly overpriced imo.  It does have classic Michael Jackson handwriting though and that's why I liked it (imo).  There are so many good MJ forgers out there now that its hard finding legit auto's.  Its a very scary market for sure for his auto.

James it might have been me that said the more writing the better.  I have said that on more than one occasion here.  I say that specifically though for MJ as he had a quirky handwriting style using upper and lower case letters - and always doing them the same (for the most part).  Like there are specific letters he rarely would use upper case on.  I will not post what they are however as some of the better forgers now days are getting scary close to getting it right and I don't want to give them any pointers.

Hi Wascher,

Congratulation for your great collection. I had seen this one in Goldinauction but didn't place bid as I know some members in this web would place bid on this item. Anyway, I have won Carpenters (as attached pic) on this auction and I really loved this one.
