Immediately below is a link to my previous blog on the titled baseball.

The above forged "1927 NY Yankees" baseball sold for a whopping $2,500.
It was sold by Ebay seller Fwstanford.
The so-called two COAs are from Barry Halper and Frank Garo.
The Halper letter, of course, is a fake and Frank Garo, well.....
So when does a "1927 New York Yankees" signed baseball sell for $2,500.00?
When they're forgeries that originated from Coach's Corner Auctions.
I have no doubt that the winning bidder thinks they "got one over on everyone else" and will be trying to flip this piece of crap.

Wondering if it's a shill. It takes some pretty epic stupidity to fall for this.
I thought that at first, Rich, but the winning bidder has zero bid activity with the seller, but we also can't rule it out.
a shill is intended to increase activity and raise the selling price. this item, rightfully, had no activity. So its likely some collector or flipper that believes they know more than we do.
What an absolute piece of crap. It is quite easy to tell that this is all signed in the same hand.
What a "piece-of-crap" is right, Steve. That's the kind of crap that Coach's Corner has been for over thirty years.
I'm with you, Terrier. I believe we will see this listed on Ebay soon.
