Anyone who thinks they purchased an authentic autographed Mickey Mantle baseball is totally delusional.
Selling autographs on Ebay is actually easier than selling authentic autographs because Ebay is heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors who think that Ebay filters out the forgeries, but nothing could be further from the truth.
EBay is heaven for sellers of forgeries.
There are no penalties for selling forgeries on Ebay.

eBay makes money whether it's real or fake. Maybe that's why they don't seem to care.

So true, Steve. They made a ton of money during the Operation Bullpen and were never held accountable, and it's even worse today.
Word of mouth, and observation, "tells" people how easy it is to sell forgeries on EBay without fear of penalty. It's a license to rip people off.
