Ebay Seller Markirodenko Sells Forged Mickey Mantle Bat For $636.98

Before I continue, below are links showing hundreds of examples of forged Mickey Mantle baseballs, photos, etc. found on Ebay (the most dangerous place to buy autographs if you're a casual collector or impulse buyer).

Check out the below forged Mickey Mantle bat that was sold by Ebay seller Markirodenko for $638.98.

The worthless COA is from the seller (Markirodenko).

The seller has named his own COA Outfield Sports Cards.

Part of the COA reads "This certifies that this autograph is authentic."

That makes for a good laugh since the majority of worthless COAs aren't worth the paper they are printed on.

Selling autographs on Ebay is actually easier than selling authentic autographs because Ebay is heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors who think that Ebay filters out the forgeries, but nothing could be further from the truth.

EBay is heaven for sellers of forgeries.

Anyone who thinks they purchased an authentic Mickey Mantle autographed bat for $638.98 is totally delusional.

My bet is that the buyer will attempt to flip once they receive it.

I hope the buyer submits this to Beckett, JSA or PSA.  All three will deem it "Not Authentic."

This is the seller's own COA.  It's as worthless as the paper it's printed on.

I was checking "Completed Auctions" and discovered that this seller originally listed this forged Mickey Mantle with a COA from Donald Frangipani.

As we all know, Frangipani is deservedly on Ebay's Banned COA list.

So the seller was aware this was a fake item and took steps to cover it up by removing the bogus COA. I guess he can't claim "he didn't know" it was fake. eBay is polluted with dishonest losers like  "Mark Irodenko"

Polluted is an understatement, Steve.

The forgery business on Ebay is getting bigger every day.

To be fair to the seller - "Mickey Mouse Bat"/"Mickey Mantle Bat" must be an easy mistake to make. Specially if he's got auto-correct switched on.

Good one, Find.
