Johnny Bench Commercial -- And it's All Autographs!

I saw this on TV today. I've never seen a commercial that deals with non-stop autographs. And it's pretty dang funny. Here it is:

Johnny has had a few Blue Emu commercials over the past few years. He comes off as a believable spokesperson. I'm sure this particular commercials has happened to him in real life.

Well Jason, here's a funny thing you can probably Google. When Ashton Kutcher did the "Punk'd" show on MTV, they got the Mavericks all-star Dirk Navitzski (sp?). This cute, 10 year old kid asks for his autograph. He signs it. Now, he's at dinner with his agent (who was in on the joke), and the kid comes back with his mom, with a basketball for him to sign. Dirk signs it. And, he comes back with a Charles Barkley jersey, saying that's the only one he had. This goes on and on...and Dirk, after about 20 items, nicely says, "I think that's enough for now," to which the kid hurls a bunch of insults at him, so he shrugs, and signs a few more items. It seriously...made Dirk look like the nicest guy on the planet (at least to autograph collectors)

Johnny Bench is a much-loved former baseball player. Our baseball's similar to yours in Australia, but the bases are run counter-clockwise.
