I haven't spent much time on Elvis' signature. That said, I'm surprised too. I wasn't expecting it to come back as authentic.
Same here.. at first glance I was not liking it, because of the Merry Christmas. The more I look just the Yours Elvis Presley. I was liking it. I was going either way on this one.
This looks to be signed on a generic RCA 45 sleeve. I am assuming there is a curve in the at the top. I cannot seem to find which one this would have come from.
Regardless very very cool piece!

Good conversation to follow - thank you gents.
I wonder why the other side wasn't signed? It would be plain brown/off white, not full of red printing and more receptive to ink, no? Just wondering aloud.
If that's a record sleeve, it was most likely signed with record in it or at least the sleeve intact.
At this point, I feel that Don could help with some of those forgery examples he mentioned early on in this discussion. He raised a red flag and no one is talking about that. We need to compare the different examples.
Apparently it was from a RCA 45 rpm sleeve that was damaged and the owner ripped it or cut it down to use it as a cut for framing with a photo. The item measures 2x3 inches in size.
+1 again. It's enough for me.
