ROBERT DE NIRO AUTOGRAPHED PHOTO OPINIONS?

Hi there, I have received many opinions on on this autograph and most of those opinions were stating that this looks authentic and genuine. A person from an Autograph group, said to me that I should perhaps post it on this again for more opinions. Obviously, I try and consider every opinion as possible, and I do have a gut feeling that this is real, but unless I was there in person watching him sign it then nobody will ever know. But, opinions will be appreciated!

With scribble autographs you always have to rely on the source. If I was buying a DeNiro I would go with one of the top sellers on RACC (who are also many of the big Ebay sellers). True this autograph could go either way but I would rather be pretty sure. Not so sure with this one.

Better yet, avoid scribbles altogether if you can. But yes, unless you can document the source conclusively, most scribbles are garbage, regardless of what the truth behind them is.

First example is a standard De Niro street graph.
Second example is a nice De Niro, a Radioman example from inside the trailer.
Third example is a vintage De Niro. Soooo niiiiiiice.

The t should stay within the loop, not shoot out of the top like this. Compare this part to others.

Also,.. even if it was inside the loop like it should be, it should also be a sharp edge (not looking like a cursive l)

You are right with the T in the loop, I haven't seen another one with the T going over it. But, I have seen ones were the top is cursive and round than edgy or pointy.

Not only does the T go outside the loop, but it's also not a sharp edge as it should be. That's 2 different problems that your signature has. Take a look also at how "obert" is higher than the R in nearly every single authentic example, however in your example, the "obert" portion comes down lower than the R.

So that's at least 3 statistically rare occurrences all found in 1 item. It's fake.

Adam Halloran, it was bought from eBay this year and the seller is named Albert Freer. I got to know him more by asking questions and he told me he is an ex police officer. So, I searched online for his name and city department etc and I found him. He is actually an ex officer here in Britain.
