With scribble autographs you always have to rely on the source. If I was buying a DeNiro I would go with one of the top sellers on RACC (who are also many of the big Ebay sellers). True this autograph could go either way but I would rather be pretty sure. Not so sure with this one.
Better yet, avoid scribbles altogether if you can. But yes, unless you can document the source conclusively, most scribbles are garbage, regardless of what the truth behind them is.
First example is a standard De Niro street graph.
Second example is a nice De Niro, a Radioman example from inside the trailer.
Third example is a vintage De Niro. Soooo niiiiiiice.
Not only does the T go outside the loop, but it's also not a sharp edge as it should be. That's 2 different problems that your signature has. Take a look also at how "obert" is higher than the R in nearly every single authentic example, however in your example, the "obert" portion comes down lower than the R.
So that's at least 3 statistically rare occurrences all found in 1 item. It's fake.
