Mantle Autograph

Hey guys I'm Justin just wanted to introduce myself I've been a collector since I was a kid and just recently started getting back into it. So my dad is a huge Mickey mantle fan and I want to get him an authentic mantle autographed photo. But I also know there are prob more mantle fakes than anyone else out there. It seems as though there are some mantle autograph experts on here. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me out with these pictures and determine whether they are genuine or not. I'm a slightly above novice mantle autograph eye myself so I picked out a few on eBay that looked like they could be good. Thank you and thanks for having me here!

Here's another one. Comparing it to some PSA/JSA authenticated Mantles the Mickey looks close enough but that M in "Mantle" is pretty questionable to me. Thoughts?

i wouldn't touch that one either....but there are some un-coa'd ones out there that do look correct..i don't see too many of them as bargains.....

pretty bad forgery, at that.  Justin, I think you are trying to find an authentic Mantle for the price of a Whitey Ford.   While bargains do come around once in a while, if you want an authentic Mantle 8x10, you are likely looking at minimum of $200.00.

Both are terrible forgeries. If you are interested, you can contact me. I have about 10 signed Mantle 8x10's. All are in person, PSA, or JSA.
