What do the members on this forum think of the price of some autographs,do you think its fair or outrageous.my opinion is its a joke when a kurt cobain autograph or john lennon is valued at thousands.I dont have thousands to spend on an autograph but if i did i still could not justify spending that on basically a piece of paper with someones name on it.The problem is if some people are silly enough to pay these crazy prices then sellers will ask these crazy prices. This is not me being bitter because i dont have bags of money to pay these prices i just think its out of control and collectors should make a stand and refuse to pay these mad prices.

DO YOU HAVE RAdioactive material from trinity ( i am an hungarian descendent of leo szlliard)
No, I am sorry although I was born on 7.16 - just material from Hiroshima 8.09.45. The materials I do sell have been properly tested for Europium - I have sold melted window glass, roof tiles, some knob & wire electrical fragments, some plate fragments, and some odds and end etc. Some can be seen in online museums - scroll down at the link below to "fragments" (glass and "unknown (electrical knob & tube conduit):
I agree 100% with your views especially on cobain. The amount of fakes out there is crazy and i should know i bought enough lol.
In my opinion, there is no "authenticating" a Kurt Cobain autograph. Any respectable forger could easily and undetectably replicate the crude "Kurdt." As long as it was on the right kind of item, there is no expert that could tell with a high level of confidence. There is nothing to authenticate with childlike block letters.
The only way you can have any confidence in one would be based on unimpeachable and rock solid provenance.
like perhaps this? Cobain high school Fender guitar art verified by high school art teacher who i also looked up phone, called, and got verification that this was indeed real.

Very wide range eric im just a very basic collector with a select few bands that i collect.
Supply and demand is what makes a Kurt Cobain expensive.
The harder it is to authenticate, the more value an authentic one has.
The more he is forged, the more valuable a real one is.
Way of the world, this hobby or planet may not be for you....
What makes Kurt so expensive is the fact he is treated as the Jim Morrison of modern times
I had a chance to get his sig when Nevermind first came out, but I was too busy having a good time w/ Eddie Vedder to ask for his autograph in Hawaii. Hindsight can be a B*t*h
Ha HAA
i have the lenticular cover for pearljam niel young album
The more he is forged, the more valuable a real one is.
I disagree with this. Forgeries create (artificial) supply and dilute the value of authentic examples. There are many examples that illustrate this.
