I never sent him a link till he asked for one

all I asked was is this cert real or fake and sent a picture .he woudnt answer say yes or no.he has to know if he ever made that type of cert

he asked for a link I sent him to the auction site .

he then said I have to pay 15$ for him to tell me and I said all I want is to know is ur cert real not authenticate anything.

I posted first here for help.when I couldn't get a definitive I sent him a direct email

well still don't know if the cert with his address and name of company is real.

I guess it pays to deal with bigger  companies that care.

I also read it like the others do.

"I asked is this your certificate and is it real"

It looks like he answered, and then asked for the link to the item - to give you the "is it real" answer (on the item).

One more time wrong. He asked for the link so he can see the coa on the item .He wanted to know were it was listed.  Once again all I asked is this a real coa of yours. It was a one sentence question with a pic of the coa in question. No matter how u try to spin it his actions were wrong and still never answered the question

this isn't rocket sience it was a yes or no question that he could have answererd in 2 sections like all other auction and other certifiers have

I think Roger is a straight up guy. He certainly isn't trying to squeeze you for $15. Really? Perhaps this thread would have better served us with a link to the item in question.

one again my original question that eric answerd fine .is that a real coa or a fake one.u don't need an itiem itialy  to know if u ever produced a coa  like that

Lol, you seem to have an issue with Epperson, solve that in private without starting these useless threads.

Of course this isn’t his COA, even a six year old knows that. And he would never charge for saying if something is his COA or not. Maybe your communication isn’t that clear, could that be the problem? :-).

If you can read he said that this is not his COA so your problem is solved.

I believe this could very well be one of his old COAs.

I used to have one (or a very similar one) for a Tom Petty autograph that was obtained in the mid 90s. 

Problem is that the item wasn't pictured in the COA back then...so (+20 years later) Roger would have to look at the item again to check authenticity. It could be that a seller uses a genuine COA for a fake item...

he should say that clearly-this is more than a customer service issue, its reputation, etc. Others should not have to chime in for him on forgeries of his certs, how they are "positive " its not his etc

I don't buy but I still help people out with there purchase

I was doing leg work on something and the easiest way was to start with were people got the itiems from.

now 50 percent say its a real cert and 50 say its fake .

that's rogers old info for 20 years ago .

coas 20 yars ago were a lot difernt than today.

and yes ive recommended roger to tons of people same with other authenticators

u have no idea what my business is .

and this was the first time I emailed and ask him a question. so no abuse there.

r and r helped ,bonhams helps also verify there coas and purchases
