My dad was 18 and was first into Berlin with Monty brave men/boys RIP dad

God Bless all of our men and women in the military; both past and present.

Thank you to "The greatest generation."

Amen, Chris! I had four serve in my family.

It’s beyond my level of comprehension to understand what was in the mind of these great soldiers. Fighting for our freedom. God love them all!

I enjoyed watching the interviews with those old boys just normal blokes they had a job to do and they did it no grumbling just got on with it 50/ 50 chance you would make it ,loved ones ,wife and kids at home and you step onto a foreign beach into hail of bullets for your country

My dad wasn’t part of the group of these D-Day heroes, but he did serve the US Armed Forces in the US Air Force during World War II.  He was a hero to me.

And as for these D-Day veterans, none of us can EVER thank them enough for what they did for the freedom of mankind.  God Bless them all!  And THANK YOU!
