That's  so nice - and thanks each of you. It's such an enjoyable hobby and I like feeling part of this online community.

I must apologize for my earlier actions I get very passionate about thing I care about . Thanks everyone for your time and thoughts about the autographs  . I would like to know what your thoughts are on dimaggio signing under the note mrs.Birdsong wrote.  Has anyone ever seen him sign with any crazy notes like that and what it would do to the value of the program ? I am also posting a pic of someone handing marilyn a program just like mine at the dinner . Thanks again  everyone .

I have a theory that if Marilyn had read the note Mrs Birdsong wrote concerning her then husband, it may have been the reason she got someone else to sign the program instead of herself.

Perhaps DiMaggio didn't read the note, it's very possible he didn't. Considering Mrs Birdsong's unnecessary comment informing DiMaggio she wasn't a Yankees fan, she is lucky she even got his autograph.

It's highly likely Marilyn did sign an autograph, or many on this evening, on this program, but this particular item was definitely not one of them unfortunately, beyond any doubt in my mind.

+1

Eric, I guess Trent won't accept the fact that Ms. Monroe didn't sign that piece.

It seems not Christopher. He doesn't have to accept the fact, but he isn't going to change it. ;)

I don't see this one posted. I apologize if I missed it.

It's a postcard signed by Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio in 1961. They were reportedly considering remarrying.

RR sold it in May 2017:

Well those are nice autos, and great snapshots too.

It is quite likely they would remarry. Some rumours said she had ordered food for the wedding reception at her home the week she died. But there are SO many rumours

She certainly had many plans as she died. Joe was clearly in love with her til the end, and after. And accepted her more that, as a movie star, she wouldn't be his Italian style wife. He did not like her Hollywood and political friends at all. They were all purposely not invited to her funeral.
