Calling the resident Ruth experts to weigh in here.  This looks legit to me but I know not to trust my own thoughts, especially on Ruth.  Is it authentic, guys?

Not authentic IMO but wait for other opinions. Has some positive traits but some issues as well.

Yes...some positive characteristics, but it seems off.

Hi Daniel,

The photos aren't large and clear enough to reliably give an opinion on that Babe. Don't consider it unless you can get first quality images.

Agreed.

Agreed. Unless this was in paint pen or there was a Zip Code or something on the (not shown but often relevant) Reverse photo, images like this are useless. Suspicious even, to me, in this context.

Looks like the auction house “passed” on this today so no innocent parties were harmed.

Did they have a better scan? Nothing can be gleaned from this image.

Did you just add the clearer closeup to the start of the thread? I don't recall seeing it. Did everyone who commented here know where to see it?

Nope.  I had it there from the start.

Hmm. I only saw the full image - that is why I spoke of a single photo and not photos as I see Steve did. I wonder why this happened - but we had recent pic trouble...

I know Joe W was also having trouble.  Steve did mention “photos” plural.
