Am I the only one that thinks this is quite possibly the biggest PSA/DNA fail for a Michael Jackson signature ever? What do you guys think?

I don’t think PSA actually authenticated it. The database entry says “Album” instead of “CD.” Also, it should be an LOA instead of a cert card.

Very good observation!

Definitely not a legit PSA authentication, as Ballroom suggests.

I still have to question the item though. Is the certificate and sticker fake? PSA verify says the number correlates to an album not a CD. Did the seller simply get an item authenticated by PSA and just reused the sticker and certificate?

There have been a good number of forged PSA stickers/certificates that have made their way into the market.

Agreed

That’s very helpful! I had no idea!

Big Saturn, for me, this is probably the biggest screw-up by PSA/DNA on a Michael Jackson signed item.  This was authenticated by PSA/DNA in August 2009, just two months after MJ passed away.  Here it is if you’ve never seen it.

And here’s a link to a previous discussion about it.

Here’s a close-up.

This is still in PSA’s database as authentic!

That’s beyond terrible. Wow!
