That image looks intentionally slightly blurry. Get a large, sharp image. From what I see, though, I don't think Lennon signed it.

I thought it looked good, the "h" and "L" relationship and those two ink blobs at the tops. Your exemplars don't have them but I have seen them. I just am not totally used to this "J" but appears good. Is there a year for this style?

Thanks. It's not that. It's that ones that are light and electronically faded like that one are usually problem ones. Copies, etc.

Well I was leaning towards authentic, but now looking at this is kinda the nail in the coffin....Unless someone is THAT good at forging...
