Hi There,

Somewhat new to the collecting world and was offered these signature cuts at a really good price. No COAs but the person assured me they were real and they would pass PSA or JSA. Any advice would be great. I am wary of the signatures but the price is really good. That of course worries me too.

The stutter point between the "A" and "G" kind of worries me...that should be one motion ... Zipper is right...Joe Dimaggio was very unconsistant...this is very true...but its either a sloppy authentic or close fake...I really cant make a solid opinion on this piece in particular
1000% authentic...what a mess...you never knew what you were going to get with the Yankee Clipper
I thought Craigslist was going to be a great place to find items but Ive never found one real one on there.
Different seller. It's from Field of Dreams Sports from a signing in 1996. There's a COA and a hand written serial number on the ball that matches the COA.
Wish these guys were still around.  I never met Mantle, Williams or DiMaggio.  I guess I should get off my butt and go meet Mays and Aaron before its too late.

From what I've heard, you will regret meeting Mays or Aaron. It will just shatter your illusion.

Neither is fan friendly and Mays is downright nasty.

The Mick understood that paying customers deserved a nice experience and a beautifully done signature. Not so with Mays or Aaron (or DiMaggio for that matter).

Williams was pretty good with fans from what I've heard.

They are all fakes that looked like they were signed yesterday, despite the yellowed paper.
I agree, Zippy.

Slowly drawn Babe Ruth and horrific Mel Ott.

Daniel, you should send the link to this thread to the person who offered you those three cuts just to show him that this kind of junk is no longer hidden from the public.

Then I'd love to hear how he acquired them.

He told me before that he got them in '97 at a show. That's about it. I emailed him already to tell him I'm not interested. He hasn't emailed me back. They aren't on Craigslist anymore either. Not sure if it was too old or he pulled them.

Any opinions on the DiMaggio signature? Anybody?

Heres another authentic version...much cleaner and neater compared to the card
Would you trust the COA? It's from Field of Dreams. It has a hand written serial number that matches the COA card. I have pictures of that as well.
