I have the upmost respect for Classic Entertainment Autographs but they do sell items that are consigned and not in their possession. Mistakes can happen.

It does make a difference to have items in hand to be able to go over them closely... especially when offering it for sale under your own banner unless you are quite certain about authenticity.  I guess different dealers have varying thoughts on that.

I like the checks and the PSA photo. Everything else is signed in the dark. The dark signed images look like they have crushed "C"s…...not a good sign……drunk or sober he  tended to to sign with a more open "C"  like the checks…..In my humble opinion.

Why not ask the seller for some exemplars of this style? Is there a return policy? Keep us posted. I still don't understand why the photo is if such poor, undercontrasted and grainy quality.

The seller said it was collected in person and purchased at Classic Entertainment Autographs in New York.

Why not write Dr. Brucato to verify that?

He told me, that it's In-person by a collector based in California whose collection he purchased. So it is authentic.

It's authentic because he purchased it from California? Why not some exemplars of this style - that would be hard data. Who in this thread thinks it authentic? Anyone?

That's what he told me. In his shop there is one autograph of Bronson available. It looks similar.

As an IP none of us saw it signed. Is it very rushed? Well, Steve thought it looked like a preprint at first. As most but not every preprint is produced from a genuine signature why not inquire what Steve thinks of this signature style? Maybe he has seen some others. Dr, Brucato is a superb dealer - but why not just return it for your own peace of mind? I keep looking at those checks... Maybe I read too quickly - does anyone here think it good? Is the other example from the same collection? Yours has a break in "Charles", the other has a break in "Bronson". Try working with the dedication and inscription. Things to consider. I must say I have purchased from CE several times and have always been satisfied. Indeed, it was Dr. Brucato's assurance about my 1936 Lugosi that made very very happy!

In the end you have to be comfortable with it.

I have no opinion on the signature itself because I have not studied it in depth. I was simply commenting at the beginning because the signature did appear somewhat weak like a pre-print. And I do know that Bronson was known for sending out pre-prints because I received a few myself. Assuming it is live ink, I have no further comment.

Thanks Steve.
