My pleasure, I hope you were able to get a book.

I have an order confirmation-so I think I'm good.  I  wasn't feeling too confident about my order with Book Depository-so hopefully this comes through. Although-it means I'll probably have to sell off my signed Barack Obama Promised Land to make the wife happy. But worth it to pick up a book with "The Boss" on it.  Thanks again!

No worries, glad you managed to secure one.  I got an order in at the end of last month online from Rizzoli Bookstore New York.  After placing my order I got an email asking if I was happy to wait until 7th December when the books were due in but I needed to let them know quick as they were only getting 2 of the signed books.  I replied and they processed my order, it will be interesting to see how long the book takes to arrive with me in the UK.  It was a great price for a genuine Springsteen auto and having Obama was a bonus.

I knew people were still looking for a copy so I posted as soon as I saw the notice from Premiere.

An order confirmation does not say that you get a book for sure. When they get not enough books it may be that you get nothing. You have no contract concluded due to a order confirmation...

They were only getting 2 and because I replied they guaranteed one for me and processed my order and are going to email tracking information when they ship.  I'm all set :)

I have ordered one at Thalia and one at Hugendubel in germany. I have for both a confirmation and processed my order. But it is not sure if they get something and how many books they get. I think no shop can say how many books they get and no one can say how many books exist. It can be 100 or 1000 or 5000 etc. This book will be a big surprise for everyone. And again, a order confirmation or processed order is no contract with the book store. They will collect your money if they ship the book. And only then you have a contract. So wait and see what happen....

The store has already taken the money which is why they replied to me once I placed the order, they didn't want to proceed if I wasn't happy to wait.  As soon as I told them I was happy to wait they took payment and locked in my order.

It is easier to trust a bookstore like this than Amazon who left the orders open for a while, I certainly can't see Amazon fulfilling all the orders placed.

Also when Premiere Collectibles released the books again earlier at $500 there were only 10 available so they knew how many books they would be receiving also.

Amazon- “Due to high demand and potentially limited supply, at this time we are limiting all orders of the following items to 1 per customer.

Renegades: Born in the USA (Deluxe Signed Edition)

We have canceled the additional quantities you requested, but appreciate your interest in the product(s) listed above.”

The thing is I only ordered one!

I'm guessing that it went to all of us that ordered one from them. I got it as well, and my order still looks good in my order history.

Phew, I was stressing too as I only had one order but it looks to be still there.

Just received an e mail from amazon stating that due to high demand and limited supply all orders of this have been reduced to one per customer

This morning’s Amazon email-

We're encountering a delay in shipping your order. We'll make every effort to get the delayed item to you as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
