How do these two early Paul Newman photos look? Both signed "To Paul" and both early.
#1 looks like vintage ballpoint
#2 fountain pen
There are some subtle difference between the two in some of the letter formation (particularly the word "Best"). Both inscriptions are lined up the same way.
At first I thought #1 was possibly not real, but having found #2, I've reconsidered.

I believe both of these are genuine vintage examples.
Reminds me of Gleason - when writing to another "Jack" he would switch up his signature or make the recipients name in a different style, often the "J".
