Curious what members might think of this Jimmy Stewart signature.  A variant style that I've seen on contracts, album pages etc..  Thanks!

Hm, this hastily written style seems to me quite uncommon for Stewart on Pics, especially on large Ines. Okay for contracts and album pages, but you would expect this one to be written in a sitting situation and carefully written for fans on a beautiful piece.

As for the sig itself it is hard to tell. Could be his style of writing, especially the S, also the Jimmy as a whole. So I tend to yes.

I would expect to see this style pre 80s or 90s. Assuming this has enough age on it, I think it's likely ok.

Thanks folks!   I appreciate the input.

Truly a lovely photograph Etienne! Matte double weight?

Yes, to both!

Etienne, What kind of ink is that, I can't tell. Also is the photo vintage or one of those1960's and 70's original negative double weight copy's. It is a great image either way. My thanks.

David, It's a somewhat vintage fiber tip.  Yes, it's probably from the 60's....quality repop.

Thats a nice in person autograph, it has all the bells and whistles.

Agreed!  Thanks, David!
