I feel bad, I don't want to ruin your collection for her, or ruin her collection by any means. There's also the chance she'll grow up liking the exact same stuff as you, but definitely worth the thought.
When my daughter was little she liked similar stuff to me. Probably because she didn't have as many outside influences, but as she got older were about as opposite as you can get on about everything. I collect a few other fairly expensive things besides autographs (movie props, art, used to be into cars and have a few old cars still, and antiques) my daughter wouldn't be interested in any of those things if I handed them over to her now for free. She'd refuse to take them, literally zero interest. It's all just junk to her that she wouldn't want to deal with.
But my thoughts were always if she doesn't like the stuff I collect and as long as it's a decent investment and goes up in value, I can always sell it in the future and she'll get it anyway. So it's not the worst thing to collect things that will gain value. Especially if it's gains value as good or better than other investments and you're able to enjoy the items while you have them.

This is the most expensive not need item I’ve ever purchased and I wouldn’t normally spend that much on an autograph.
But if there’s someone absolutely impossible to get in person under any normal situation that’s Dylan. If this are legit this are a holy grail specially being signed by a 81 years old Dylan

just called indigo as I didn’t get a confirmation email. I got lucky, it’s showing still available but apparently they are gone. Get ready for a ton of emails coming soon. She said the publisher confirmed they are hand signed by Bob, seems others were asking….

Van Grant how long ago did you place your order and how did you pay?
I placed my order a good 50 minutes ago and paid via Paypal as my bank declined it twice as i normally only spend £20 here and there !!!

I hope I got my order in on time. I'll be upset if this gets cancelled. Dylan was at the top of my list for autographs I want and didn't think I'd ever get. Him, Hendrix, and Cobain... and I know I can't afford those.

Someone said they called Indigo and they said they're gone even though the order is still up so I'd assume they'll end up canceling a lot of these.

Do you all think he even signed 500? Curious as to peoples thoughts. I could see it being even 100. I ordered and was on the horn with them early and the sales rep spent a minute trying to find out how many they were getting to no avail. Even then, she agreed based on what she was seeing that it might be a bad idea to cancel and re-order for the discount. Fingers crossed for all. If this pans out, it may well be the score of the century for those who rolled the bones!

From the dimensions listed it seems like it is just the regular book, but signed. Which is all anyone really cares about. But for someone like him, I'm shocked the publisher didn't do a nicer special edition for this. Congrats to all who pulled the trigger. I assume that with the good exchange rate that this will even be cheaper than any stateside ones that might come up for sale. And that is even before the 20% off some of you got.

I was wondering that too if they'd do a special edition for the signed one similar to the Obama Springsteen signed books. So that probably answers my question. But like you said I really don't care too much what it's on, in the end I'm just buying the autograph. Now let's hope they're really signed and look somewhat decent. Dear God, no autopen please lol.

Alot of times with these signed books they are fine TAKING the orders but not always fulfulling them if it's over subscribed. I'd be interested to see if they cancel any orders in the near future. I wish they would say how many signed copies are in this edition. The Springsteen / Obama signed book was not part of a numbered edition and they signed too many so people are selling at a loss.
