Hi- I'm interested in getting the Group's opinion of the possible authenticity of the following Taking Heads "Stop Making Sense"" band signed Vinyl LP. I own a band signed copy of the "Remain In Light" LP, as well as a David Byrne signed "Stop Making Sense" vinyl LP, but would still like to know what anyone thinks of this offering. Thanks In Advance... -SyrenAdvance. -Syren

Not keen. I own signed items from Byrne, Frantz, and Weymouth, and I don’t like the look of any of their signatures on this LP. I suspect these were all signed by the same hand (but not the band).
I took the liberty of looking up the eBay listing for this. The guy claims the LP was a gift from his wife, so there’s no known provenance here. His feedback is low, and he doesn’t have any other listings to check, to get a feel for other items he’s sold in the past.
If I were you, I’d pass on this one.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look into this. I appreciate you... -Syren
You’re very welcome. It’s what we do here.
Please bear in mind, whilst I am a longtime fan of Talking Heads, I wouldn’t consider myself an expert when it comes to their signatures. I just know what I’ve received in person and bought via official sources. Other folk here may have a different opinion on this LP, so it’s worth waiting for them to chime in.
David Byrne looks like its signed right handed... Hes a leftie. In my opinion, these are not real. I also say stay away
I've gotten Byrne (always wanted the rest of the band). I don't like this piece at all. Looks like they were all signed by the same person
