Cannot argue with you cos I don't know about that for certain. I do know that I paid £25 for Partridge from Waterstones and I receive emails from both.

Free postage for orders over £25 is neat, though.

Iconic soccer/football player (and FIFA 100 Member), actor, and now it seems singer ERIC CANTONA has a signed 10” EP available from Recordstore UK for £12.99… I imagine these won’t last long! I suppose technically he’s now a musician, so I’ll add to both this and the random music thread.

Just heard back from them and they have refunded the difference and added some points to my plus card too! A bit of a result that.

I was so annoyed about this that I marched into my local branch and asked for a refund,

I asked the assistant if she wanted to know why I wanted a refund and she smiled ever-so-sweetly and said "No".

Furious, I summoned the "Manager",

"Well,  we frequently discount our books-of-the-month," she explained.

I said, "But these are Signed Copies!"

She replied, "Would you like to buy them back at the discounted price?".

So I got them, half-price.

two other signed books half price maybe more as well, Britain According to Kaleb only released recently and half price and a The Book of Legends too.

£28.99 for three signed books is very tempting.
