Help with The Cars fully signed album?

I bought this from this guy for $400. And he told me that he got the signatures in person and it had a Beckett certificate of authentication with it. This is what came in the mail today. Definitely can't trust the coa. But, the signatures could be good. I'm no Cars expert. Please let me know what you think.

Violation or not. Yet many people do it especially when they know someone or have already dealt with that person. It's between the two parties. It's not my thing.

You used words like "phony", "forgeries", and "not a lot of trust" in your dispute with PayPal.

All you needed to do was base your return on the lack of a Beckett COA.

This has been made unnecessarily more complicated...

Respectfuly, you don't know all the details. When I received item in the mail and called the seller up I was very friendly to him on the phone. He however was being loud, swearing, and telling me that I didn't know what I was talking about at first. People who make mistakes on non authentic items don't typically get mad and lash out. That is the behavior more times than not of someone who is upset because they weren't able to pill off there scam. All this and the guy never once apologized or anything.

No, that's understood.

This wasn't your doing with the question that I had about editing the comments of others. I thought you had gone back and deleted the seller's info. from that PayPal post but that wasn't you. It need to be removed and I pointed it out....but I thought you as the posting member had done it.

I just did not know that one member is able to access another member's posts on here and make changes in a post that isn't yours. Maybe they are an administrator and I didn't know that. Don't mean to be dramatic but it does kind of leave me questioning my own posting and what can be possibly altered.

I don't believe I can either. I've never even tried and wouldn't want to even have that ability, to be honest! Especially as slightly heated as some of these threads can get on occasion (lol).

No regular members cannot change other people's posts with the exception of if you have a group you can delete but not edit someone else's post. I have never deleted someone else's post in The Andy Griffith Show Collector's Group. Mr. Crykin and moderators I believe are the only ones that can change, but they would do so only to remove sensitive information as in the case of addresses or phone numbers etc. They would not change what anyone writes as opinion, etc. of that I have no doubt.

This would be more a question for Steve C., perhaps. I was wondering if regular members know who our moderators are? I know I don't and I've been around for a little bit here. It looks like from up thread that Eric is one of them...and Steve himself would be of course. But I'm not sure of who else is in that position of service here.

Hope I'm not overstepping but it might actually be helpful to occasionally give them some thanks for their diligence. It's certainly not a casual commitment to take on on a public board these days :-) !
