Does That mess even look like a nice "Ex" to you JK ?
No it does not. That's why I said I'm preparing for the worst (like that one).
He probably won't be signing any more in the future so we won't have to worry about it again.
"BUT GUESS AT REG PRICES..."
Imagine if he started signing "Reg!"
Ha Ha...good one Eric Keith Longo !!!
" R e g " is probably too (two?) many letters for the lazy a** to bother with!
Hey Eric Keith Longo, here's my guess at what the R e g "autograph" would look like...complete with the all essential "x".
Sad thing is, that even if this was reality, many autograph collectors and novices would throw away their hard earned money saying "Wow! It's from Reginald Dwight/Elton himself and I only had to pay about $25 including shipping! What a deal!"
LMAO !!!
If I were an autograph collector, that had very little money to spend on autographs -- I'd still rather pay $400 for a nice Elton signature on a vintage album, then an initial on a new CD.
A Big +1 from me Josh Board NEW & Improved!
I mean what absolute garbage exactly did most of our members receive?
You really want a scribbled barely able to decipher so called "initial" to disply, refer to, or share with friends? They'd likely reply "What the hell does it say?".
How the hell would a PAS like JSA/PSA even begin to try to authenticate this Elton garbage?
These scribble "autographs" that people are $upporting also makes it easy for secretarials to sign for the artist, and for Forgers to reproduce and sell on Ebay etc. in mass quantity.
And don't get me started on the dangerous precedent that it sets for other Artists that will think:
"Well if they bought and accepted that lazy crap from Elton, I'll sign that way too".
And those that think they got a bargain, claiming "It was a great deal for 25 bucks"...
I wouldn't even pay 25 cents for this Elton crap, and would be almost ashamed to display it or have it in my collection !
Yep. And it's one thing if he always signed like this. But as I said originally -- the blind thing is BS because we can all shut our eyes, and sign our name, and it would look almost exactly the same. And...if you, right now -- sign your first initial and that's it. And then...sign again, with your full name. How much time did you actually save? 2 seconds?
None of it makes sense.
Of course the blind thing is bs but if it’s something like (beginning) arthritis I'd rather sign 1000x my first letter than a full signature.
