Trixie, the strong willed wife of Ed Norton, upstairs girlfriend of Alice and friend of Ralph, Trix had a somewhat shady backstory involving a few risqué sketches in Vaudeville. Like Audrey Meadows, she did not originate her role. That was Elaine Stritch, once. Randolph only played Trixie from 1952-1957 - others played the character including Patricia Wilson, Jane Kean and Sue Ann Landon. Randolph was the longest surviving original Honeymooners cast member, having passed less than a year ago on January 13, 2024.
Randolph's vintage signature is even harder to secure than Gleason's! By a ratio of some 4 to 1 easily! I have just a handful to share. Like Meadows and Carney, she is very plentiful in later form.

As Randolph only acted in a single TV episode during the 1960's, there is very little to nothing available.

Well done, Eric.
Over the years, Ms. Randolph was kind enough to mail me three short letters.
I remember awhile back leaving her a message on her answering machine asking her about the signing habits of Mr. Gleason, Mr. Carney and Ms. Meadows and we ended up having a nice conservation on the phone.
Thank you Christopher. I always appreciate your valued comments. I must have mentioned, but I used to call her every New Year's Day for years. When I met her, she told me "Mr. Gleason never signed anything." My Dad would never believe I met Trixie! But then, he watched them live ;)
I unfortunately don't have a photo of it handy, but later in her life she signed a card, as I requested, with her name and also with the full name of her character, Thelma "Trixie" Norton.
Hi JK,
That sounds really cool. So very few are signed that way! Didn't Trixie have a Vaudeville stage name?
Eric, if you want feel free to use my 1965 Joyce Randolph that is on here somewhere.
She was such a humble lady and truly appreciated her fans. Great item.
She was. I will never forget my last conversation with her, or that my friend was invited to jump on the phone to say hello, I wish my Dad could know of this relationship. We watched religiously in the 1970's on WPIX and I have recently;y come to the idea that the character Trixie was the most even of them all. I did meet the first Trixie, Elaine Stritch, But she had no idea she originated the role by the time I met her..
Hi Eric, If I was better at reading, I would have seen this was for vintage autographs of hers! Sorry about that I deleted it. I
No no Scott, please do re-post. While the focus is on the vintage, I made every effort to show each until their later signing years and would love to add yours to the main article. Please send the scans to me in a PM?
Actually, I was able to get in the notification that JK added it. So, your note is already after mine in the main article :-) Thank you Scott! :-)
Oh, good it is right side up too lol. Did you want my dated 1965, album page for here?
