holy cow! that was a great read. thanks for posting.

Indeed. I read it earlier an got distracted.

"...The building was seized and I let it happen," Lemieux wrote on Facebook. "The run is done. There's over 500-700 MILLION dollars in value of holograms and cards in there. Let that sink in. Every company I've touched is now my bitch. That was my goal. Once you came at me or spoke my name I went after you and your company directly. Intentionally..."

"...but if what Lemieux claims he did is true, it will throw the sports collectibles world into chaos given his assertion there are now millions of fakes and counterfeits on the market that have gone by undetected."

And this too:

"...It was an addiction," Lemieux wrote. "How many items can I sell and give a front of a huge company. I did it for years. Purchased millions of dollars of legit items. Mixed it until [name withheld] found the hologram connect. Then I had the bank roll to buy even more. Do more signings. Every one item from a signing turned into 10,000. And it was certified. 95% of the [Patrick] Mahomes and Aaron [Judge] on the market are sold by me. Basically every autograph sold in the last 25 years you should have it looked at...."

One hopes that sports experts will examine the counterfeit holograms and material to determine just how good they are.  By their very nature sociopathic criminals like Brett Lemieux lie, so it will a process going forward.  I am sure any associates of Lemieux will have an uncomfortable few weeks and months ahead.  It certainly will have a chilling effect on the TPA companies who depend on people trusting their product.

Now China is flooding Ebay with fake Beckett stickered photos. American dealers are buying them and flipping them thinking they got a deal.

Here's one example. Hologram placement is the biggest tell without even looking at the sig.

I heard about this Thursday morning and have been digging into it. I read Lemieux's FB post and there's clearly been a lot of fraud, but he'd say things in the post and then contradict what he said later in it. And much of what he said made no sense. He'd have private signings and sell 10,000 forgeries for every one genuinely signed?

He sold 5 million Fanatics stickers?

His post wasn't a confession—it was a Gotcha!

95% of the Aaron Rogers autographs on the market were forged by him?

The forger clearly wanted to rub all of our noses in what he said, and didn't care who he hurt in the process.

and then he ceased to exist
