Hoping we get some clearer info on this soon as to how it'll work in practice. But I have had some record labels no longer offer shipping to US starting this week. I have also read that books won't have tarifs but who knows. The fact that they changed the law to apply to items under $800 is what really screws us and makes it all more difficult for everyone.
I'm sure this will likely get lifted. Or vinyl plants in the US will start making more vinyl.
The reason I say this is that prior to this year, anyone making $600 or more on ebay or any other platform or by driving for Uber, Door Dash, etc had to report their earnings. That has since been lifted. So for ebay, specifically, it is back to: if you sell $20,000 worth of items AND over 200 individual listings, then and only then would you be sent a special form to report your income for tax purposes. I started doing this years ago so this doesn't likely affect me that much.
Ugh the one company I have an overseas outstanding order from. We'll see what happens.
What company is this? Doesn't seem clear unless I missed something
Banquet Records. I noticed the BR symbol and went to their web site and they confirmed it there
Not everyone.
You said it!
The business owner making this decision is not an elected official
Thank you for making me laugh. As I said, own it. The damage over the next few years will be beyond anything Americans can expect or even foresee. And not just in economics terms. 10 4
I don't want to get political on here but I won't own anything. I'm on a break (with a few hiccups) it seems simple to me, just stop buying crap you don't need
Yeah, no.
No one who voted against this has to own anything.
