I periodically find items I'd really like to own and I figure the rest of you do too.

This thread is dedicated to the items we wish we had and would like to share. They don't have to be the most expensive items, but things that have special meaning for some reason or catch our eyes.

Thanks to Mr Zipper for posting the first thread of this similar nature.

I wish I had this Bas Guitar! Signed by Pete Quaife (The Kinks), Bill Wyman (The Rolling Stones) and Paul McCartney (The Beatles). Three of the biggest bas players from the 60s.

a item signed by Queen the band!

Roy Orbison

Dean Martin

I think it would be great to have an autograph from Albert Einstein with his famous formula E=MC2.

I want to own Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and Jay Novacek autographs. I want to find out how to start to get their autographs through the mail. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The Beatles

Here's another item that sold through RR a few months back. It sold for a premium as items with that unusual flair usually do.

Vintage Gary Cooper SP, inscribed: "Greetings from Hollywood and Gary Cooper". Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

It's been a while since my last post on this thread, I might as well share a couple more signed pictures I wish I had the testicular fortitude to justify purchasing 'just because' on a firefighter/paramedic's salary.

This item sold on eBay a little while back at a decent price. It's one of the nicest Gary Cooper signed items I've seen on eBay in a long time. I have some Gary Cooper items, and this isn't as special as the one I posted above, but you don't find early signed pictures from him often.

Another item which would look very, very nice in my collection. This item is currently up at RR. They've had some very good Grace Kelly items up recently, some maybe from the same consignor.

I love the Gary Cooper SP. The Grace Kelly looks good, but it's not one of my favorite shots of her.

I agree on the Gary Cooper. I love how the dog's looking at the signature like, "Hey, where's my name!"

RR has sold a number of these in recent years, but I think I prefer the first one I posted of Grace Kelly.

Amazingly beautiful.

I'd like people like Neil Armstrong, Freddie Mercury etc. I look or the more obscure autographs. Just got one of the most desirable ones going, JK Rowling, which I'm chuffed to pieces on.

Neil Armstrong is one I'd like but he's a fortune which is understandable as to why. Love The Beatles but that'd cost a lot too.

I would love to have a Hayao Miyazaki autograph in my collection. He is the "Walt Disney" of Japan. Creator of "My Neighbor Totoro."
