Ebay Seller MMP1968 Mickey Mantle Joe DiMaggio Autograph Photo Forgery COA GAI Mike Baker Sold $131.50

Here's another set of Mickey Mantle/Joe DiMaggio forgeries on a photo with a COA from GAI (Mike Baker) that sold on Ebay.

As we all know, GAI (bankrupt and out of business since 2009) "authenticated (cough, cough)" thousands of forgeries of Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, etc., with Mike Baker's name on the COA.

These  Mickey Mantle/Joe DiMaggio forgeries was listed and sold by Ebay seller Mmp1968 for $131.50.

If the buyer/seller of this garbage had done just a little bit of research, they wouldn't have purchased this crap.

This is why sellers of forgeries list their garbage on Ebay; they know the wannabe autograph collectors will purchase their forgeries like the below Mickey Mantle & Joe DiMaggio forgeries sold by Ebay seller Mmp1968 for $131.50.

Good question, Dom!!!!

Unfortunately, Dom, Ebay knows there is too much money to be made from the sales of forgeries to ban either GAI and GA.

Ebay has probably made millions from the sales of forgeries fro the past twenty years.

There's no doubt about it Mr. Williams. I would say Ebay has easily profited over 100 million dollars since it debuted by allowing known forgeries. There is a gentleman here on the site that told me he has had several forgeries removed from ebay this week with ease. He says it's very simple to if you go about it the right way & that Ebay really does care about protecting their customers from fake autographs.
