I was looking at a DiMaggio ball and read his description.. I am curious if anyone can validate his story that he bought the Joe D memorabilia estate??
He has 2 negative feedbacks as a seller this month alone, from 2 different buyers. Both claim he is a fraud and scamming people.
Anyone check this out and get back to me.
The ball in question that started my curiosity is below:
I originally felt this ball was authentic, because many of his late in life signatures, driven by his attorney's greed, were shaky. But one of my friends on this site had me look at it again, and there are some questionable characteristics, including the shakiness. for the price of this ball, you can certainly get a better example elsewhere.
and I have seen many forgeries on this site at other times.
However, lately he has been selling forgeries on Ebay and on his web site. Not sure if he knows for sure they are bad but there was a terrible Mantle ball on his web site last week that obviously did not come from the Dimaggio estate.
You can basically trust the Yankee Clipper hologram IF accompanied by a notarized Engelberg LOA, the attorney who handled Dimaggio's estate.

What a crappy scam by this eBay seller dimaggioestate using DiMaggio in the userID to try and make people believe their fairy tale even more... This piece is still for sale, and they even try to confuse the buyers even more by saying "STEINER COA" which is onl for the piece of the chair...
