Thanks for the info. This is currently being offered at the next IAA International Auction in the UK. They do have some authentic stuff but I know they have a hit or miss record for music artists. I guess this one is a miss.
you need to be careful with some of their stuff, Mr B Juice
I have been interested to read the discussion that has been proceeding regarding the Freddie Mercury record sleeve included in my auction taking place this Saturday, 5th March.
I completely appreciate that Mercury's autograph is frequently forged, and a lot of care has to be taken with his signature and those of Queen in general.
One of the main reasons I accepted the Mercury for the auction was because it was accompanied by a COA from RR Auction, which I attach an image of. My client purchased it directly from RR as item 734 in their Catalogue 439.
It has been in my client's possession since October 2014 until now, so I am interested in Innuendo's comment that this sleeve 'pops up...every few months'.
I have known Bob Eaton, Bill White and their consultant Roger Epperson for many years, and respect their opinions, but given this evidence and what has been said in the discussion maybe IAA are not the only auction with a 'hit or miss record for music artists', as Bruce Juice put it.
I'd be interested to hear anyone's opinion on the RR certificate.
Thank you
Richard Davie

Good point Innuendo -- and cheers to Richard Davie for coming on this forum to make his points. No auction house can get it right 100% of the time.
are we saying RR auction and its authenticators got it wrong on this one
