Oh what a mess.

Christopher,

This has been an upsetting situation for many of us but I stand by my opinion on the Don Henleys I pointed out, even thought Roger disagrees and obviously your three passed PSA as well.

Stephen Duncan has many Henleys that I am not questioning and I didn't seriously study the other signatures. The Henleys were my focus.

Why don't you and I discuss the Henleys, just you and me if you want? We can do it in the December discussion if you want, so another one on the topic isn't started.

If you haven't reviewed them, here's a link to the compilation images I made in December:

Let me know what you'd like to do.

Thanks, Patrick. All four of the Henleys you posted look great to me. Nothing like the ones I'm concerned about.

Very nice Christopher! I suspect Justin is out there somewhere.

Thanks Ian. Much appreciated. And apologies for my antagonistic comment. Not my style normally. Beyond time to let it go I suppose :).

This is a game of opinions...and if Justins opinion was honest (and I believe it was) he owns nobody an apology.

I´m sure he didn´t post anything just to destroy someones reputation. And I agree that the way he posted it should have been more diplomatic and should have left more room for a civil discussion...

...but I (still) can see what he was talking about and I (still) agree with most of his observations.

To my eyes there are things in a few of the sigs that would lead me to doubt the authenticity. And when there are "issues" in 2-3 sigs I just would avoid it...but this just might be me (a collector and no expert).

My latest addition is a PSA slabbed Al Davis signed Goal Line Art card. This completes my set. Everyone is either PSA/DNA or JSA authenticated. The Davis and the Luckman were obviously the two toughest to obtain. I've been collecting these since about 1999. The only two I don't have is Wojo who died not long after his card was released and the Dan Fortman proof card.
