Framing a audograph, how to STOP fading?

Hi im new to collecting audographs. i bought about 11 8x10 signatures and half of them are approved by psa dna.
some like jack black. cheech and chong. 3 brendon smalls ect.

my stupid self bought 7 non uv picture frames for 30usd.

i want to ask how to properly hang and mount my signature? there out of sunlight and the lights on this room mostly stay on all day but mostly the lamp. snd its not directly on the graphs.

i was looking at uv protection glass frames 99%
10 for 150usd

any idea how i can protect my 11 graphs?

You are doing the right thing with the proper UV glass and keeping them out of direct sunlight which is the biggest offender. Matting is important so that the signature itself does not touch the glass. Always keep an eye on the signatures themselves and move them if you see any fading. Good luck with them!

You can buy all the UV protective glass that you want, (and spend thousands of dollars on it) but if you really want to protect your signed items......move them to a different room.

Turn the light on to show them off, but otherwise, keep them in a dark room with no regular light on.

You won't even know it is happening....that is how minute the changes happen, but if you have a good scan or photo of your item and look at a compared scan 6 months after hanging it in a lamp lit room, even under UV glass you will see the loss.

in one month of hanging on a wall in a shop,under lamp light & indirect fluorescent light 8 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Mind you ... this was professionally framed with the highest quality "UV Protection" Museum Glass.

Fluorescent lighting has very high uv... Far more than incandescent, CFL or led.

Yes.. I would recommend LED lighting in any room you store autographs.

Also it depends on the pen used for the signature, more than one might think. Here's an example of sharpie fading on glossy photo paper after ~1 month in sunlight.
