Just saw a picture posted on Facebook where these looked to be autopen (exact same autograph was on ebay). Came from UK.

As well as US indie bookstores (ex. Rizzoli Bookstore), so this could be a mess if they really are all fakes. What I'm curious about is how there are already copies in the wild this early.

would barnes and noble really sell an auto pen? they better not or i’m getting refunded. never heard of that from reputable book store

There's a parallel discussion that Bill started in the other section, but Yes, B&N has sold autopenned books before. Seth MacFarlane (Inside Family Guy) and Reese Witherspoon's (Whiskey in a Teacup) are the first two to come to mind, but there have been others.

B&N is usually easier to deal with though because they tend to accept returns for any reason. I have no idea what happens if you buy a publisher-sourced fake from an indie bookstore, but I'm guessing it's a hassle for everyone involved. The tiny indies are still struggling from last year, and don't like having to deal with returns.

Is Barnes and Noble easy to do returns with if this turns out to be autopen? Don't know if I should cancel now or wait

Also, a confession. The books which are signed, I signed using a signature stamp: as I was not in a position to hand write my name ten thousand times, which is how many I was asked to sign. My son was unwell, as was I. So I stamped them myself. And it is my signature.

Well at least she is honest...

The book has been at Premier Collectables for Months. Now I have no clue if she signed early editions. That would be a question for Premier Collectables. I am not a fan of hers.
