Dylan's hard to authenticate, except for the zillions of clearly fake examples out there. If both PSA/DNA and Roger say it's good, you can't get better than that.

What's the mystery? Keep in mind it's easy to make copies of autographs and COAs from scans, so if something doesn't smell right check it out.

Steve many thanks I knew this probably was ok
It's just that someone put an identical signature to my one
on eBay on a guitar scratch plate when I asked him
about it in fairness he took it down
I did buy this from RR auctions so I was confident
On its authenticity but when you see one identical
To your own one begins to wonder but
Mr Epperson assures me this is authentic so hey that's
Good for me
Steve thanks for your input

It's one of those weird ones that he did for a very short period in the early 90's.  It's fine for sure.

Thanks Roger for that  information I got this from RR
Auctions but someone put an identical one on a guitar
guard on eBay so it was a bit confusing he did
In fairness take his one down but it looked in every way
Even that small dot on the o in Bob exact as my one
But I am
Pretty confident in yourself and RR auctions
So thanks once again

Are you thinking of buying your own signature? Ha ha.

Yeah why not what a scam that would be lol lol

This might be better sorry not a PC wizard but can you see the likeness to my signature and why i thought it was a mystery can anyone shed light on this

You are asking some strange questions. You're concerned about an autograph that you own, which is PSA and Roger Epperson authenticated, because you see a Bob Dylan autographed pickguard on ebay that looks like yours? Why would that bother you? I'm sure your item is not the only item autographed by Bob Dylan during that time period. I don't understand what the mystery is.

If they're identical one of them is a copy. Since the seller on eBay took his down, he probably knew his was fake. Good catch, Bob.

If a forger made one identical, he probably made many identical copies-meaning that 1 forgery found do not reduce risk that another is a forgery too..

The pickguard appears to be a forgery traced from a Dylan sold at RR Auction in Oct. 2011. I found the closed listing on eBay, and the seller was www-authenticateit-co-uk, Marc Mclennan.

I'm not surprised. We've found a number of autographs for sale under his eBay account that appeared to be copied from RR Auction lots. Sadly, he's not just a member of AFTAL...he's one of the founders of AFTAL.

Here's a comparison of the one you posted and his:

Look carefully and you'll see the differences.

Steve how can i thank you, great to expose this guy and he really tried to tell me how concerned he was he even contacted PAS/DNA as a guise i suppose to cover his self.
