TMZ reporting the rock star PRINCE has just died!

This is turning out to be a terrible year for rock star deaths -- and we are only in April.

I am just hearing this for the first time. This is horrible news. Prince was one of my very favorites of all-time. In the 80s, he was right there, very close to, if not being just as popular as Michael Jackson and Madonna. I always thought of him as a musical genius. I will never forget going to see "Purple Rain" in the theaters. It was an event. RIP Prince. Your music lives on forever!

I just did that off the top of my head - may not have gotten it alright. Just my little tribute to the genius that is Prince.

It is amazing the tributes that are coming in all over. In fact, in several cities across the USA, public building lights were turned to purple in Prince's honor. They just don't do that for any "average" celebrity. He was truly was of the biggest icons in pop and rock music history.
